Performing in a staged reading of The World Only Spins Forward (Phase III), conceived by Lily Mannon and directed by Nate Flower, at the MSNR Alumni Creative Incubator.

performed in a reading of Run Against the Wind, a piece developed by Taji Senior and Thalia Sablon. Run Against the Wind is a piece that uses text from Black feminist and scholarly writers and activists to be in dialogue with Palestinian resistance and liberaiton in the midst of the current genocide. This piece was presented at JACK and all proceeds were used to purchase E-sims for people in Palestine.

Workshopped Dominique Rider’s RACIAL BONUS (former title) with Breaking the Binary.
Performed in a reading of Twelve Angry Black Women by Andrea Ambam and directed by Taylor Reynolds at New York Theatre Workshop.

Read stage directions for YOUR MAXIMUM POTENTIAL by travis tate, directed by Dominique Rider and had the opportunity to work with a creative team comprised fully of trans, non-binary and two-spirit+ artists. <3

Collaborated with director abigail jean-baptiste, one of New Georges Audrey Residents, to explore the destruction of the movie-musical White Christmas, and see the piece through the lens of the often uncredited black train car porters.
JUNE 2023
Had the pleasure of being in a Benefit Reading of A Long Time Since Yesterday by PJ Gibson, directed by Awoye Timpo at The New Federal Theatre.
Played Mayo, a fifth grader on a gender journey, in Ally Merkel’s The Bogeyman that went up at the Tank in the Under Construction 3 series.

Time and Time Again, a collection of three short plays that experiment with time and structure, at The Chain Theater in NYC. Vann was featured in when superheroes die and how we mourn them… by Luis Roberto Herrera directed by Mia Fowler.

Returned to Mercury Store, “a start-up space for theatre artists – stage directors, choreographers, and devisers,” as a member of their resident acting company. They first started working with Mercury Store in the Fall of 2021 and continued on for their Spring 2022 Season.

Had the opportunity to workshop a new queer black musical, Be Like Bone, by Storm Thomas and directed by nicHi douglas, with some of their favorite collaborators at Musical Theatre Factory.
